Compliance Assured — environmental, safety, and reliability documentation for Queendom LED components and luminaires

Queendom LED products strictly adhere to international standards. The certificates and test reports collected on this page document that compliance for our component and luminaire ranges: restricted-substance conformity, photobiological safety, and long-term reliability testing. Each document below is available for direct download; for certificates tied to a specific product series, manufacturing site, or shipment batch, our sales team provides verified copies on request.

RoHS /
REACH

Environmental Compliance

RoHS (Directive 2011/65/EU) restricts hazardous substances such as lead, mercury, cadmium, and hexavalent chromium in electrical and electronic equipment. REACH (Regulation EC 1907/2006) governs the registration, evaluation, and authorization of chemical substances, including the candidate list of substances of very high concern. Queendom components and luminaires are tested against both frameworks, and the current conformity statements are provided below.

Photobiological Safety

Photobiological Safety Testing

Lamp and luminaire photobiological safety evaluation assesses emission in the blue-light, UV, and infrared hazard bands against the exposure limit framework used for lighting products. Testing was performed by an accredited third-party laboratory, and the full test report is available for download.

LM-80
Testing

Reliability & Lifetime Documentation

IES LM-80 measures lumen maintenance of LED packages, arrays, and modules under controlled temperature and drive conditions, and forms the basis for TM-21 lifetime projections. Test reports for our principal component series are published here; a wider library of wavelength- and series-specific test data reports is maintained in the Test Reports section of the LED Components Resource Center.

What These Standards Mean

Standard / Directive Scope Why It Matters to Buyers
RoHS (2011/65/EU) Restriction of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment Required for CE marking and market access in the EU; confirms lead-free and restricted-substance compliance
REACH (EC 1907/2006) Registration, evaluation, and authorization of chemicals, incl. SVHC candidate list Confirms declaration of substances of very high concern above threshold limits
Photobiological safety evaluation Optical radiation hazard assessment of lamps and luminaires Demonstrates blue-light, UV, and IR emissions remain within accepted exposure limits
IES LM-80 / TM-21 Lumen maintenance measurement and projection for LED light sources Provides the data foundation for rated lifetime and lumen-maintenance claims
Requesting specific documents: Certification dossiers are maintained per product family and manufacturing site. If you require a certificate for a particular series, order, or shipment batch — or need compliance documentation in a specific customer format — contact sales@queendomlamp.com with your requirements and our team will provide verified copies.

What a Certificate Actually Covers

A common audit finding is assuming one certificate covers an entire catalog. Every safety and EMC certificate is scoped to a product family tested under specific ratings — input voltage, wattage band, enclosure type, and thermal class. When a datasheet claims “UL certified”, verify the model range on the certificate face, not the marketing line. We maintain the mapping between certificate numbers and SKU ranges, and every quotation lists the exact document set that applies to the quoted items.

Regional Market Access at a Glance

Market Required Marks Scope Renewal Cycle
North America UL / ETL listing, FCC Part 15 Safety construction, electromagnetic emissions Annual factory surveillance
European Union CE (LVD + EMC + RoHS), REACH Electrical safety, emissions, restricted substances Self-declaration + technical file retention
United Kingdom UKCA Mirrors EU LVD/EMC requirements post-Brexit Self-declaration
South Korea KC Safety and EMC for electrical goods Periodic re-testing
Australia / NZ RCM (via SAA wiring rules) Electrical safety registration Registration renewal per state scheme

Environmental Declarations per Shipment

RoHS 3 (2015/863) restricts ten substances including the four phthalates added in 2015; REACH SVHC obligations update twice a year as ECHA adds candidates. Because the lists move, we issue RoHS and REACH declarations dated to the current revision with each shipment lot on request, rather than a single static document that ages silently. Halogen-free and conflict-minerals (CMRT) declarations follow the same per-lot discipline.

How to Request Documentation

  1. Send the request through the contact form or your account manager with the model numbers and the market you are shipping into
  2. We confirm the applicable document set within one business day — certificate copies, declarations of conformity, test reports where NDAs permit
  3. For OEM programs, framework documents can be co-branded and referenced in your own technical files after a mutual NDA
  4. Urgent audit support (customer audits, customs holds) is handled same-day with a flagged escalation path

Frequently Asked Questions

Are your products UL Listed or UL Recognized?

Component-level products (LED packages, modules) typically carry UL Recognition under UL 8750 as components intended for use in end products; finished luminaires carry full Listing. The quotation states which applies to each line item so your compliance engineer can plan the end-product file correctly.

Do you provide photobiological safety reports?

Yes — risk-group classification per IEC 62471 is available for all emitter families. Most visible-light products classify as Exempt or RG1; UVA and high-luminance products ship with the measured radiance data needed for your own risk-group determination and labeling.

Can I get test reports, not just certificates?

Certificates summarize; reports prove. Full test reports from the issuing laboratory are available under NDA for customer compliance files — request them alongside the certificate set and we will confirm which reports the labs permit us to share.

How current are the certificates on this page?

Each entry lists its issue and expiry dates. Certificates under annual surveillance show the latest audit date. If you find an entry older than its renewal window, flag it to us — that is exactly the kind of gap this page exists to close.
