FAQ | Queendom

Clarity begins with answers. Explore technical, lighting, support, and procurement FAQs.

At Queendom, we provide clear and authoritative answers to the most common questions about our LED components, lighting solutions, warranty services, and procurement process.
This FAQ hub is designed to guide engineers, project managers, and customers with confidence.

LEDs Technical FAQs

SMD LEDs are compact and ideal for high-brightness applications. DIP LEDs are robust for indicators and outdoor use. High-Power LEDs deliver strong luminous output and require proper heat dissipation, suitable for industrial and horticultural lighting.

Store LEDs in a dry, ventilated environment (-40°C to +100°C, humidity <85%). Use within 3 months of packaging. During soldering, maintain correct temperature (295°C ±5°C, within 3 seconds). Avoid mechanical stress and allow cooling before handling.

Wear anti-static wristbands and gloves. Ground all equipment and workstations. Use ion fans to neutralize static charges. Store LEDs in anti-static packaging to prevent reverse leakage or brightness loss.

Failures include dead lights from poor soldering, moisture damage, static electricity, and mismatched power supply. Prevent by following soldering guidelines, proper storage, ESD protection, and matching power supply with thermal design.

Use LEDs from the same batch, drive with consistent current, and avoid mixing packages. Implement strict quality control and calibration during assembly.

Lighting Support FAQs

Define spectrum needs by plant species and growth stage (blue for vegetative, red for flowering). Use high-efficiency horticultural LEDs with proper thermal management. Ensure uniform distribution and compliance with agricultural standards. Integrate smart controls for scheduling and energy optimization.

Consider luminous efficacy, lifespan, and robust housing. Ensure compliance with CE, RoHS, UL, and local standards. Select fixtures with proper IP rating for dust/water resistance. Evaluate total cost of ownership including energy savings and maintenance.

Yes, most products support PWM or 0–10V dimming. Selected models are compatible with smart control systems for remote scheduling, monitoring, and adaptive lighting.

Clean fixtures regularly to prevent dust accumulation. Use protective covers in heavy smoke or humidity. Select waterproof-rated fixtures (IP65+) for outdoor use. Ensure ventilation to extend lifespan.

Queendom fixtures use durable housings and reinforced structures to resist vibration. Unlike glass fluorescent lamps, LEDs are solid-state and less prone to breakage, suitable for industrial environments.

Warranty & Support FAQs

Standard warranty is 3 years. Premium models may extend up to 5 years depending on category and region.

Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship. Exclusions include misuse, improper installation, unauthorized modifications, or environmental damage beyond design limits.

Contact Queendom Support Center with product details, proof of purchase, and issue description. Our team will guide troubleshooting, repair, or replacement.

Submit a return request via Support Center or distributor. Products must be in original packaging with documentation. Approval depends on warranty status and inspection.

Reach us via Support Center portal, email, or authorized distributors. Our team assists with technical inquiries, warranty claims, and procurement guidance.

Orders can be placed through Queendom sales representatives or distributors. Bulk quotations can be requested via Support Center or sales team.

Lead times vary by product (2–6 weeks). Expedited delivery available upon request, subject to inventory and logistics.

Yes, we provide commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs documentation. Compliance with export regulations is ensured.

Accepted methods include bank transfer, credit card, and trade financing. Terms vary by order size and customer profile.

Order tracking is available via Support Center or logistics partners. Customers receive shipment updates and tracking numbers upon dispatch.

Using this FAQ well

  • Checking the answer against the current datasheet revision rather than an older download.
  • Applying a component-level answer to a fixture-level question, or the reverse. The sections mark the level.
  • Treating FAQ guidance as a substitute for the specification tables when a number is needed.

Getting to the right answer quickly

This hub is organised into two technical lines plus two service groups, and the fastest route to an answer is to identify which line your question belongs to before you read. Component questions and lighting questions are answered in separate groups because they use different vocabularies and different reference documents; a question asked in the wrong group tends to attract an answer that is technically correct but not the one you need.

Two technical lines, kept deliberately apart

  • LED component questions — anything about the device itself: package families, electrical and optical parameters, binning, storage and handling, soldering conditions, reliability and failure modes. These are answered in the LEDs technical group, and the underlying documents live in the component datasheet and download centres.
  • Lighting questions — anything about a finished luminaire or an installation: fixture specifications, photometric files, illuminance and glare, dimming and control, installation and commissioning. These are answered in the lighting support group, and the underlying documents live in the lighting specification and download centres.

If a question sits on the boundary — for example, matching a component to a fixture design — start with the side that owns the deliverable you are responsible for, and follow the cross-references from there. Keeping the two lines separate in this hub is deliberate: it prevents a component answer from being read as fixture guidance and the reverse.

The two service groups

Warranty and support covers what is covered, for how long, and how a claim or return is raised; the support centre carries the request form and the policy documents. Procurement covers quotation, ordering, lead time and documentation that accompanies a shipment. Both apply across the product range, so they are grouped separately from the two technical lines.

How to ask a question that gets answered first time

  • Name the line. Say whether the question is about a component or a luminaire.
  • Give the model or family. A part number or series name is worth several paragraphs of description.
  • State the condition. Drive current, ambient or case temperature, control system, mounting height — whichever applies to the question.
  • Say what you have already tried. For a fault, the measurements taken so far usually decide the answer.
  • Ask one question at a time. Compound questions tend to get the first part answered and the rest overlooked.

When the FAQ is not the right route

Use the support centre rather than the FAQ for anything that requires a document issued to your company, a decision about a specific order, or an engineering opinion on your own design. The FAQ explains how things work in general; the support centre handles the particular. Where a question needs a document you do not yet have, the download centres are the first place to look before raising a request.
