UV LED Datasheets

UVA · UVB · UVC component specifications — wavelength, radiant power, viewing angle and package outlines

Ultraviolet LEDs are grouped by wavelength band, and the band determines the application. UVA emitters (315–400 nm) drive UV curing adhesives and coatings, counterfeit detection, fluorescence inspection and insect attraction systems. UVB sources (280–315 nm) serve phototherapy and specialized plant-growth responses. UVC devices (200–280 nm) deliver germicidal output for surface, air and water disinfection. This index gathers every UV series in the Queendom component range — from compact through-hole UVA lamps to ceramic 3535 UVC packages — with links to product pages and downloadable catalogs containing full electrical, optical and mechanical data.

UVA SMD LED Series

Surface-mount UVA emitters cover the mainstream 365–405 nm window used by curing and inspection equipment. Peak wavelength is selected to match the absorption of the target photoinitiator or fluorophore; 395 nm is the volume choice for general curing, while 365 nm improves depth cure in opaque adhesives.

Series Package Peak Wavelength Power Class Typical Applications
2835 UVA 2.8 × 3.5 mm 395 nm typ. Mid power Curing modules, counterfeit detectors
3528 UVA 3.5 × 2.8 mm 395 nm typ. Low to mid power Inspection strips, indicators
3535 UVA 3.5 × 3.5 mm ceramic 365–405 nm options High power Industrial curing, printing heads
5050 UV 5.0 × 5.0 mm 365–405 nm options Mid to high power Multi-chip curing arrays
7070 UVA 7.0 × 7.0 mm 365–405 nm options High power Flood curing, large-area exposure

Wavelength tolerance, radiant flux bins and forward-voltage groups for each series are listed in the current catalog editions below. For projects that specify a narrow wavelength window, order to bin code and confirm availability with technical sales before release.

UVB & UVC Series (3535 Ceramic)

The 3535 ceramic platform carries the short-wavelength die used in germicidal and phototherapy designs. Its aluminum-nitride substrate provides the thermal path that UVC dice require to maintain output and lifetime.

Series Bands Key Feature Typical Applications
3535 UV LEDs (UVC & UVB) 265–310 nm Single-band germicidal die Surface and air disinfection, sensors
3535 Dual-Chip UV LED (UVC + UVA) 265 nm + 395 nm Two dies in one package Combined sterilization and inspection functions
UVB / UVC safety notice: Never view UVB or UVC sources directly, and prevent skin exposure during operation. Germicidal equipment must include interlocked shielding, and quartz-window lifetime should be evaluated in ozone-generating configurations. Follow the precautions documented in the UV floodlight guide linked below.

Through-Hole UVA LEDs

Epoxy-encapsulated UVA lamps in industry-standard 3 mm, 4 mm, 5 mm, 8 mm and 10 mm packages provide economical point sources for instrumentation, currency verification and fluorescence excitation. Detailed parameters for each lamp size are indexed on the dedicated through-hole UVA datasheet page.

Lamp Size Peak Wavelength Viewing Angle Typical Applications
3 mm / 4 mm UVA 395–405 nm Narrow to wide options Compact detectors, instrumentation
5 mm UVA 395–405 nm Narrow to wide options Counterfeit verification pens
8 mm / 10 mm UVA 395–405 nm Wide Inspection lamps, fluorescence viewers
