5050 RGBI & RYBI LEDs | Quad-Chip High-Power LEDs
Overview
Queendom’s 5050 RGBI and RYBI LEDs integrate four independent emitters — red, green (or yellow), blue, and infrared (830–850 nm) — into a single 5.0×5.0 mm high-power ceramic package. Built on an aluminum nitride (AlN) substrate with optical-grade silicone, these tri-chip + IR LEDs deliver ultra-high radiant output up to 670 mW @ 1200 mA, enabling simultaneous visible illumination and covert IR performance. Ideal for security cameras, night vision systems, and industrial machine vision requiring dual-spectrum lighting in a compact footprint.

Key Features
- Quad-Emitter Integration: Four independent dies (R+G+B+IR or R+Y+B+IR) in one 5050 SMD package
- High IR Radiant Power: 410–670 mW @ 1200 mA (830–850 nm) for effective night vision illumination
- Visible Spectrum Options: Choose between RGB (full-color) or RYB (high-luminance amber/yellow) for signage or warning lights
- Ultra-High Drive Current: Supports 1200 mA continuous per channel with proper thermal management
- Superior Thermal Design: AlN ceramic substrate with RθJA ≈ 18°C/W ensures stable output under load
- Reflow-Compatible: Withstands IR reflow (260°C, 3–5 s) for standard SMT assembly
Applications
- Single-Package Dual-Spectrum Solution: Eliminates need for separate visible and IR LEDs, saving PCB space and optical alignment cost
- Covert + Visible Lighting in One Fixture: Perfect for surveillance systems that require daytime color accuracy and nighttime IR invisibility
- Long-Term Spectral Stability: Direct-emission chips (no phosphor) prevent degradation in harsh environments
- Design Flexibility: Common anode/cathode options simplify driver circuit design
- Future-Proof Scalability: Same footprint across RGBI and RYBI variants enables platform-based product development
Technical Advantages
- Security & Surveillance: IP cameras, CCTV systems, license plate recognition (LPR) with day/night mode
- Night Vision Illumination: Covert IR lighting for drones, robotics, and perimeter monitoring
- Industrial Machine Vision: Multi-spectral inspection (e.g., sorting, defect detection) using visible + IR channels
- Smart Transportation: Traffic signals, vehicle warning lights with integrated IR for sensor compatibility
- Commercial Signage: High-brightness RGB/YB indicators with optional IR for interactive systems
