Cylindrical DIP LEDs emit light through the side wall of a clear or diffused cylindrical lens, directing output at 90° to the lead axis. This side-view geometry is ideal for edge-lit panels, channel letters with shallow returns, level indicators, and anywhere the PCB must sit perpendicular to the viewing direction.QUEENDOM cylindrical LEDs are offered in 3 mm, 5 mm, 8 mm, and 10 mm diameters, in red, amber, yellow, green, blue, and white, with viewing patterns around ±60° in the emission plane. Diffused lens versions smooth the light for close-proximity viewing; water-clear versions maximize intensity for distance applications.
