4mm UVA LEDs
Overview
The 4mm Through-Hole UVA LED is a round DIP (Dual In-line Package) ultraviolet light source with a 4 mm diameter lens.
Emitting in the 365–405 nm range, it delivers high radiant intensity for fluorescence excitation, curing, and inspection.
Not intended for germicidal, medical, or UVB applications.

These LEDs emit UVA radiation only (365–405 nm).
They are not germicidal and must not be used for disinfection, sterilization, or medical phototherapy.
Avoid direct eye exposure. Use UV-blocking safety glasses.
Applications
- Fluorescence detection (forensics, leak tracing, mineral identification)
- Counterfeit currency and document verification
- Low-power UV curing (adhesives, inks, coatings)
- Educational and scientific demonstration kits
- Special effects lighting and blacklight applications
NOT FOR USE IN
- Air, water, or surface disinfection
- Medical UVB phototherapy (e.g., psoriasis treatment)
- Sterilization of medical devices
- Any application requiring germicidal efficacy
