Note: Values measured at 350 mA,500 mA,1000 mA, and 1400 mA per model.
Note:
• UVC (254/275 nm) and UVB (310 nm) models use AlGaN chips; UVA models use InGaN.
• Radiant flux and VF measured under pulsed DC conditions to maintain Tj = 25°C.
• Actual performance depends on thermal design in application.
FEATURES
- Differentiated optical design: UVA models feature a ceramic dome lens for uniform illumination; UVC/UVB models use flat quartz to maximize durability and UV output in high-power applications.
- Material optimized by wavelength:
- Ceramic dome (UVA): Improves light efficiency and viewing angle.
- Flat quartz (UVC/UVB): Ensures minimal absorption at short wavelengths and excellent thermal resistance.
- Full UV spectrum coverage: UVC (254/275 nm), UVB (310 nm), UVA (365–405 nm)
- Dual-chip technology: AlGaN for UVC/UVB, InGaN for UVA
- High radiant flux: Up to 5760 mW @1400 mA (405 nm UVA)
- Low thermal resistance ceramic package: Stable performance under high drive current
- Standard SMD 5050 footprint: Compatible with automated pick-and-place and IR reflow
- Viewing angle: 120° (2θ½)
BENEFITS
- Design flexibility: One package, multiple wavelengths for diverse applications
- Industrial reliability: Gold wire bonding, hermetic sealing options available
- Thermal stability: Minimal wavelength shift over temperature (UVA models)
- Scalable power: Operates from 350 mA to 1400 mA depending on model
- Global compliance: RoHS, REACH, and IEC 62471 photobiological safety ready
APPLICATION
- UVC (254/275 nm): Enclosed surface or air disinfection modules (not for open exposure)
- UVB (310 nm): Medical phototherapy devices*, analytical instruments, UV sensing
- UVA (365–405 nm): Industrial UV curing of inks, coatings, adhesives, and resins
- All wavelengths: Fluorescence excitation, counterfeit detection, forensic analysis
*Note: Medical device integration requires system-level certification (e.g., FDA, CE MDR).
UVA LEDs are not effective for disinfection. System design must comply with IEC 62471.
Note: The optical lens material is selected based on wavelength performance.
UVA LEDs use a ceramic dome to enhance radiant flux and beam spread,
while UVC and UVB models employ flat quartz windows to maintain spectral integrity
and enable reliable operation in high-temperature environments.
